I have done weight watchers and found it impossible to stay on. I tried Atkins and although I learned how my body reacts to sugar, I probably gained more weight from that whole experience. "Stacey Gretka at Total Nutrition Technology has literally transformed my athletic performance and overall nutritional well-being. I started at TNT when I began training for a marathon. Stacey listened closely to the details of my busy schedule and current eating habits. She created a nutrition plan that not only incorporated all of my favorite foods but aligned directly with the types of foods I was already consuming – just more of them! She created a plan that increased my caloric intake, balanced out the nutrients my body needed for maximum performance, and was easy to follow. She is extremely knowledgeable about the body and it’s reaction to food, providing me DETAILED explanations as to the “whys” I constantly asked. "When meeting Brock at TNT, he immediately tied in to my health and fitness goals. He guided me along the way, but he made this MY program. Brock is very knowledgeable and very well-qualified, so he has the tools to help. Furthermore having someone to be accountable to is essential! I had a love/hate relationship with my weekly weigh-ins, lol. But, I learned that I needed to physically see how certain behaviors affected my journey. One the other hand, celebrating when I've had a good week at home, but it may not reflect on the scale--it's all a part of the journey. Brock was patient with me until I was "fully compliant", lol. Even when you want change, sometimes it's hard to break habits and he was there to help me push through those road blocks. Our weekly meetings gave me the opportunity to sit back and reflect. He always asked me, "How was your week?" I was alble to put everything together (food, exercise, stressors, schedule changes, etc.) and see how that affected my week. I still have to make the choice to do the right thing everyday, but now i have the tools."

The main reason I need to write a success story is to pay it forward and this is probably the only reason I agreed to write anything. "On a whim one morning when I wastoiling way on a stationary bike, I called Brock over and discussed with him some concerns I had about what my workouts were accomplishing. We met later, talked, did the assessments, and agreed on a plan of action. Important to me was his willingness to tailor the program to me rather than fit me into a “one size fits all” program. My major objectives were (1) to stop weight creep as I got older, (2) toimprove my muscle tone, and (3) to increase my energy level. To my satisfaction, I have achieved all three of these. With Brock's guidance adn my personal nutrition plan I was able to lose 8lbs. of fat, gain 10lbs. of muscle and lost inches in my waist and gain inches in my chest. At the end of my three month program, it was time for my 'after' pictures. I was so excited to show off my new body! The pictures turned out great! A few days later, I found out that I was 6 WEEKS PREGNANT! I feel that being on the TNT program got my body healthy and ready to get pregnant. I still follow the program, we NEED to take care of ourselves before we can care for others...even if they are still inside our bellies. I now have 2 beautiful girls!
